Welcome to the Kintsugi Workshop for corporate teams – a mindful, hands-on art experience rooted in the Japanese philosophy of embracing imperfection.
Ideal for team bonding, employee wellbeing, and creative away days – this session is about more than art – it’s about connection and transformation.
Kintsugi is the traditional Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold, celebrating imperfections and honouring an object’s history rather than hiding it. During this workshop, you’ll begin with a short, engaging slideshow exploring the origins, philosophy, and aesthetics of Kintsugi, offering insight into its cultural and artistic significance.
Following the presentation, you’ll participate in a guided, modern Kintsugi-making session, where you’ll repair a ceramic piece using contemporary materials. Each participant will complete a finished piece to take home -a meaningful reminder of creativity, resilience, and care.
No prior experience is needed. All materials will be provided.
